Information for the Public

The UKGTN brings together all the people involved in providing genetic tests for inherited disorders. These include the laboratory staff that carry out the testing, the clinical genetics teams who see patients, the commissioners who arrange the contracts for the services and provide the funds, and the patient support groups. More information on the UKGTN and genetic testing is available below.

For clinical information patients should contact their GP. Further information is available in our information leaflet for patients and from other NHS online services.
